About Curt Sigfstead
A longtime resident of the San Francisco area, Curt Sigfstead contributes to numerous charitable and nonprofit institutions throughout the country. Currently, Mr. Sigfstead serves on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Food Bank, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger in the San Francisco Bay area. Comprising more than 120 employees and 25,000 volunteers, the organization provides food for more than 30,000 area families each week. As a leader within the organization, Curt Sigfstead helps to guide long-term strategy and develop new sources of funding.
In addition to his work with the San Francisco Food Bank, Mr. Sigfstead actively supports several educational institutions. A committed volunteer at the Katherine Delmar Burke School in San Francisco, he has also donated his time and effort to Brown University and the Richard Ivey School of Business. Mr. Sigfstead graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Brown University, where he participated on the university’s varsity rugby and rowing teams. He earned an MBA at the University of Western Ontario's Richard Ivey School of Business.
Also an alumnus of the Shawnigan Lake School in British Columbia, Mr. Sigfstead currently serves as a Trustee for the institution.
